Nissan Patrol 4WD

 

Head off the beaten track and experience the thrill of adventure in one of these 4WD vehicles. Journey into the Outback or discover the country's rugged coastlines while still enjoying a comfortable ride with air conditioning and power steering. You can even bring your own tent and camping gear and enjoy a night of camping under the stars. These 4WD vehicles seat up to 5 people and offer a great adventure family holiday in Australia.


FEATURES: Nissan Patrol, 4200cc 6 cylinder diesel motor, 5 speed manual high & low gear, power steering, airconditioning, radio-CD player, large fuel tank, 5 seats with seatbelts.

CAMPING KIT: a 2 person set can be rented for $20/day with a maximum amount payable (regardless the rental duration) of $500.

One way fee: the standard one way fee is $250. Rentals from or to Broome attracts a one way remote location fee of $750.

Locations: rentals from and to 9 locations Australia wide: Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. No rentals on, to or from Tasmania.
During the period of 1 December 2011 to 31 March 2012 the Alice Springs branch is closed on Sundays and the Broome and Darwin branches are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Travel restrictions:

A Nissan Patrol is not allowed on Fraser and Moreton Island.
Alpine Resorts - vehicles cannot be driven above the snowline.
Beach/salt Water - vehicles cannot be taken on any beach or be taken into or exposed to salt.
Northern Territory - it's not permitted to drive to Jim Jim or Twin Falls and on the Mereenie Loop Road.
Western Australia - Vehicles are not permitted to be driven on the Gibb River Road, the Tunnel Creek Road, the Windjana, Gorge Road, the Cape Leveque Road or into the Bungle Bungles.
South Australia - the Oodnadatta Track is noit allowed. This is including the following areas: Dalhousie Springs, Mount Dare, Witjira National Park and Pedirka Desert
Kangaroo Island - 4WD vehicles may be taken to Kangaroo Island.
Please note: the standard excess apply if your 4WD is damaged on the ferry.
Tasmania - a Nissan Patrol cannot be driven or taken into or out of Tasmania via the ferry.

Dusk to Dawn Driving - Night driving is not allowed in any region designated as remote (Northern Territory, Kimberley, Exmouth, Kangaroo Island). This is a road safety issue. If an accident occurs between dusk and dawn the renter is responsible for all damage irrespective of the circumstances.

Standard Liability: rental charge includes a standard liability of $7500. A bond of $7500 will be collected at the time of entering into the rental contract. Payment of this bond is only accepted by credit card. The $7500 will be debited to your credit card account immediately.

Reduction Option 1

A Liability of $2500 applies. This option can be purchased by paying $25 per day extra. The maximum amount payable for this option per rental is $1250 - i.e. 50 days rental. With this option a bond of $2500 will be collected at pick up, payable by credit card only.

Reduction Option 2
A Liability of $250 applies. This option can be purchased by paying $38 per day extra. The maximum amount payable for this option per rental is $1900 - i.e. 50 days rental. With this option a bond of $250 will be collected at pick up, payable by credit card only.
